Puppies at two weeks

About Us

At NJ Golden Doodle’s, we’re a family owned hobby breeder who’s mission is to bring well bred, quality pups to your home to be your best friend/companion.

We selected our dame and sire with the eventual goal of providing loving, healthy, well mannered and trainable companions out of their litters.

We were concerned with the coloring and temperament of the pups and choose our Dame Chrissy for her temperament, size (large and full-sized), and color (honey rusty coat with white chest). Her AKC  parents ( hips and eyes were clear)  were from quality breeding stock from Central Valley Area of PA while not show dogs they were breed as companion and hunting dogs. Her demeanor is kind playful, loving, tolerant and friendly. As with all Golden's she very trainable but does not continence being imposed upon by other overly aggressive dogs. She stands her ground, not fighting but also not fleeing. She is by no means a watch dog or guard dog. She’s our Chrissy

Sacha, the sire, is from a former show and family breeder in the upstate Albany area. His lineage includes a Westminster show dog (his great grandfather). He is a well bred (parents hips and eyes clear) AKC standard Poodle, chosen for his color (Apricot with reddish hints), Athleticism, and Intelligence. He gets things very quickly, Example, during a walk as a puppy he wrapped his leash around a tree panicked, and started to cry. I needed to show him how to follow the leash to free himself, after three times he’d got that down cold. Now he makes sure he is on the correct side of trees and if he isn’t he walks back around. Sit, shake hands, stay, he learned very quickly. While he is not a jumper, his parents could clear a four foot fence, with a standing leap. His temperament is mostly shy and cautious; he will bark and retreat then, if necessary, run. He is not a fighter, he is however very playful and dutiful. I know it sounds odd but he is always at Chrissy’s side if he gets his way. They are quite the “couple”. He enjoys playing with the

puppies, more than Chrissy. Though he gets a little nervous if they try to nurse from him.

With the parents set, and knowing that puppies need lots of socialization to be ready for their new homes we made sure that the puppies were being handled by human hands from the moment they were born. They have lived indoors in their whelping box in a room right off our living room. They are played with and engaged often during the course of the day. They are mobile active and curious. And looking for their own new families and friends with whom they will share lots of fun and love.
